The day has passed into memory....

...so on with the next year. I love thinking that this one day a year is all mine - my birthday - and so soon it slips away. But it was pleasant with many good wishes, and a supper out at the local Schnitzel House.
Now to the excursion onto Campus. It was a real experience for me and you are right Pati about it being an entity of it's own, at least in my feeling and observing the "vibes" of the place. I not only had a coffee at Starbucks but also sat in one of the easy chairs at a table and enjoyed said coffee while people watching and reading, and at one time being engaged in conversation with some others who came in to sit close by. But I also had a coffee from Tin Hortons and did some more sitting near there at tables. They seem to have lots of little tables and chairs along the corridors and all with plug ins available. The architecture of each building was different - shapes, sizes, outside veneers, which made for a lot of eyes in the sky while I walked or drove as the case may be. The Library was three floors of copious space and row upon row of shelves filled with books. And again tables for students to sit and read or work. I was amazed to walk about and see it all. of course one of the first places I scouted out was a washroom and I did use it to my advantage while waiting for Mike's phone call to pick him up. His exam venue (In the sports plex and gym) was indeed at the extreme end of the campus from where I was parked and where most of the Class Buildings and the Library were located, and where I mostly hung out. It was indeed a once in a lifetime experience - but I was thinking that come Graduation times we are likely to have to go back there (or another time if Mike asks me again) so I was glad to have seen it and will not be intimidated a next time.
So back to reality. This Wednesday I have my Luncheon with friend Sue in Huntsville and it appears that Harry will drive me and then we'll use the rest of this day to do our usual shopping.
Also while I was away Harry was stopped by a neighbour down the street - he is elderly and physically challenged and deaf so also his speak is not good and hard to understand him - but he asked Harry to drive him to Huntsville Monday to see the Hearing Specialists. Or so Harry thought. I do not know where or when or how as Harry seems vague on details so I wonder what we might get ourselves into. Of course I will have to be the one to follow up- c'est la vie.
Well time for my breakfast and then you know it ..on with the day haha!  Take care.
