We shall offer words of encouragement / words of sympathy to you, our sister! Our world has brought us to dependency on these fancy gadgets, and when they falter, and we are without the power to rectify, then our world truly does feel as if it is starting to fall apart.
Let us hope that today you shall seek and receive satisfaction at Best Buy, or perhaps another reputable Computer Store. You can read the blogs as you say, so we shall continue to write.
Last night I went on my own to the Remembrance Day Candlelight Ceremony at the Cenotaph - lighting of candles to honour the Veterans. Bitterly cold here and even with my several layers on, I was chilled. About 15 or 16 people attended - no lights around the cenotaph so flashlights were being used. They had special plastic candles already marked with Veteran names that had been sponsored by others. The BBQ flicker they had brought to light the candles was not cooperating so some had lighters and even my matches and short taper candle i brought to honour my Mike did not want to light, so I just said a few quiet words to myself. But in the end we had the red flickering candles all along the edge of the cenotaph and all was well. Short and sweet remembrance. When i got home I had a hot milk to warm my soul and tempt me to sleep.
Today we plan to go to Huntsville to shop (Tuesday right?) and I for one will be very happy to get back home, out of the cold, and enjoy some down time- say what? - what is down time? haha!
All for now...take care. Thinking of you both and Pati, fingers crossed for you,
