Finally!

After we'd both had out showers yesterday morning, the bathtub wouldn't drain.  David and I fussed with it, and finally admitted defeat.  He called in a plumber.  A bit of a surprise, since it wasn't rally an emergency, but the plumber was able to come yesterday afternoon.  I was out to Lorette for a gathering of an informal craft group there, and David handled everything.  This meant dismantling all the bathtub paraphernalia, and dismantling a corner of the laundry room.  That wonderful man also cleanup the kitchen and hand washed what dishes were there.

Now the bathtub drains beautifully ( there's been a problem for awhile), the kitchen drains better, and even the sink in the laundry room is draining well.  An overall good day, and money well spent.

And in another "finally" moment, we bought two tickets on Friday's Lottery and both tickets won $20!!  More lottery winnings than the total of the last couple of years.  gotta get a couple for tonight's draw!

Today, we may just go to a movie.  We have yet to see "Star Wars", and are wanting to see"Jumanji II".  It sounds like the crowds at Star Wars are still pretty heavy.  we;ll see when we get tot he theatre.
