Both the St. Remy and the fruit cake are forbidden to me right now, so I envy your pleasure. But go for it! We've been sorting out libraries. David very much wanted to get out of the house today, so he took our library books back. But within my internet account with them, there has been some confusion about what libraries are open and where the books that are waiting for me are. So, David decided to find out where the new Transcona library is. Turned out to be not in downtown Transcona, but rather in a newly developed area right across the train tracks from our old house. He had quite an adventure, evidently. But he also found out that there is a Starbucks drive thru right by it. Since we usually combine trips tot he Henderson Library with a trip to Starbucks, this is a good thing, and it appears as though we will be using the Transcona library until our local one opens--whenever that might be.
