We seem to be constantly busy these days. David has been seeing the massage therapist, on the recommendation of our doctor, for a torn quadriceps muscle. It has really helped. Today I took some silk threads that are superfluous to needs to a friend out in Charleswood, and picked up a box of cotton threads, just to play with, that another friend had dropped off at the first house.
We've decided not to worry about future housing, and to do whatever we have to to stay where we are for as long as possible. This has been a major decision, but both of us feel it is a good one and emotional. Both of us are relieved, not to be facing a move. Not that we'll stop the almost constant purge of "stuff".
Since the galleries have been allowed to open, there are meetings and volunteer activities that are keeping me somewhat busy, either travelling or doing paper work on the computer at home. I've started reading another Elizabeth George novel, so that should keep me out of trouble for a few days. Thank Goodness our local library is now open, although with limited hours. Still we can pick up and drop off books, as needed. Unfortunately, due to a mis-communication, yesterday, David drove all the way out to Transcona to pick up a book that was waiting at the Munroe library, just across the street form home. Nothing much on tv.
So life goes on in this house.
