Beth, your news is wonderful, and what a relief to you. I'm happy for you.
Today David had an appointment with a specialist, who agrees with our doctor's diagnosis of the bleeding problem David had last week. He told us that it may well be the only episode, but if not, we are to go immediately to a hospital, where they will likely do a Colonoscopy. He was willing to do one now, but David decided against it. He also let us know that if it occurred during the day, Concordia would also be an option, and that's an option we both agree with. Other emergency departments are too busy right now.
Then we hit the fabric store I prefer, which is on that side of town. Next, David wanted to buy some new underwear, and he wanted to go to the Bay. So off we go, South on Route 90, right past Polo Park and its Bay store, and off to St Vital Centre. Route 90 South of the railway tracks is always a wonder to me. These are the farm fields we played on with the Overwaters, but now full developed and busy busy traffic everywhere. The corner of Route 90 and Bishop Grandin Blvd is wonderful with the high curving bridge over the active traffic lanes, to complete the left hand turn makes me giggle. I remember a similar arrangement in Fargo(?) to get you from I29 to I95.
The Bay, when we got there, had a huge sale on. I found the lightweight vest I've been looking for for almost 10 years, for an excellent price, and a very nice dark red heavy pullover sweater at half price that I just couldn't leave in the store. In addition to the underwear, David found two pair of trousers that looked like very nice light-weight sweat pants. It was only when we got home and were getting them ready for the wash that we realized that they were pajamas.
Needless to say, the laundry wasn't done today. I have that to look forward to tomorrow.
