isn't it the truth. I didn't realize you were having joint problems,Cathy. And I see that Keri is starting to demonstrate that potential everyone said she had.
Beth, have you read other books by Louise Penny? " A Beautiful Mystery" is considered one of her best, and it is part of the detective series. I thoroughly enjoyed it, even recommending it to a friend's book club. She has another one out now, but the reviews have been less than enthusiastic.
David had a call from our guy at The Geek Squad this evening. His new computer hasn't been able to do the upgrades we were told we would receive. It turns out that when we thought we were turning it off, we were just putting it to sleep! We hadn't actually turned it off since we got it, and it can't do upgrades unless it can turn itself off and on. He had to tell us over the phone how to turn it off. Talk about feeling like a dummy!
Spoke to Loren this morning, and he told me that, after leaving the reception yesterday, he and Sheila went on an "Artists Walk', visiting artists' homes in Riverview, including one at 185 Maplewood. It was actually an artist I knew, having first met her in Sioux Narrows. They bought a couple of small pieces there, but also visited a studio on Beresford, and bought more from a fellow that, according to Loren ,does amazing work with pencil sketching and charcoal. After we spoke, I remembered that Loren has mentioned this fellow before, speaking highly of him.
Got a bit of Christmas shopping done today, and hope to get more done tomorrow. i am trying to pace myself, doing a bit every second day and resting in between, but David gets frustrated if we only do one or two things while we are out. But by the time I get home and get supper on the go, I'm beat, which means that Friday's dishes are still waiting to be washed. Maybe tomorrow.
