Isn't that a song? I wasn't exactly singing last night as I was pumping water and watching the rain come down all night. And temps hovered around 36 most of night as well, so the snow on the roof was also melting and streaming down. Still mild but just enough water accumulating to go out and shovel away. I brought the pump in this morning And weather statement for a severe blizzard tomorrow evening into Wed. Trying to describe the weather sounds like a fairy tale anymore haha! I was just out trying to move heavy snow from the cedar bushes - they are all smothered with snow and bent right over. I expect they will probably break under the weight but hoping I can save a few. We should have tied them up in the Fall but you don't think of this at the time with so much other stuff to do.
Tomorrow we are going to Huntsville. We will visit Phyllis in the Home if she is still hanging on - I spoke with daughter Carolyn this morning and her Mother is semi conscious, not eating or drinking and breathing laboured. She may not last until tomorrow. But if so, we can sit by her side and talk to her - Carolyn doesn't want to see her die alone. Hospice apparently are sending in some workers just to sit by the bed for this same reason.
Well the animals are all gathering for supper - it is a ritual and they always come at the same time and circle around the table waiting for the dishes to go down. They are so much fun!
Take care
