Ok. I did it. I put in my retirement notice for March 29. I will need another job to make ends meet but not for a little while. I need the break. I haven't announced it yet so it is still a "secret". I have to get blue cross too, but I want to talk to them about the custom plans they have. The small one only offers up to $300 per year for drugs and we go through $500 a month. Big difference. Other than that I am using the last of my holidays for the last week of March so my last day of work will be March 22. I’m scared because I know I can’t afford this but I am relieved the decision is made. Jim is glad too because I have been twice as bitchy as usual for the last while. We’ll see how I do as the day gets closer.
