Today

today was an adventure. I took the dogs for a walk and just part way down the trail JJ stepped on a baby porcupine hidden in the grass. I took out as many quills as I could and then called the neighbours...” I know this isn’t what you meant when you said to call you if I needed help but....”. Al came over right away and then went home for some sedation. We got out some more and then called in the professional. Rodney has removed many quills from multiple dogs. Meanwhile Jim slept. Now it is raining and the dog still has quills. Al and Carrie went home to eat. Rodney and I are waiting out the rain. JJ is sedated but unfortunately her teeth aren’t. Life goes on. And I didn’t get my walk ☹️
