The store

I think we used to buy it in a hardware store that was on the west side of Osborne in the block South of Morley.  I remember the family that owned it--was their name Afflek? Did they not live on our block on the other side in the house next to the older DeWolfs, towards our house?  She had terrible Rheumatoid Arthritis and was badly crippled up.  They ended up selling out, and the store was turned into what would be a discount department store now, like Giant Tiger.  I remember working a full wee in the canteen at Riverview Community Club to make enough money to buy myself a black jacket with white vinyl sleeves, and bought it at that store.
