...who or when or how often any of us post, since I know you are there and I know we are all thinking about each other.
Now some encouraging news from my perspective. I had my Optometrist appt this morning, and he has all the fancy machines including a new retinal scanner for which I pd an additional $55.00. But it was worth it as he has some concerns that the retinal degeneration the previous, and now retired, Surgeon/specialist diagnosed is not so evident to him? Who knows what the answer is? What he saw was a definite need for the cataract in the left eye to be removed. for which he has now sent a referral to the new Surgeon/Specialist in North Bay. He also suggests that after the cataract Sx that another retinal scan should be done to assess that aspect again. I also have a new Rx for glasses which I shall get next week. i was happy with this news and it gives me hope.of course there is a long backlog of referrals at this new Drs office and I shall have to wait my turn - even wait for after Harry has his appt. which at this point is unknown.
And another happy event is that we are going to Mike's tomorrow - he ordered an A/C for Harry and it arrived today and he will sort of set it up, so that when I get home I can easily put it into the bedroom window. It is a floor model where only a hose is connected to the machine and stuck into a plate that slides into the window. So we are now busy getting some food ready and organized for the trip.
