Early morning ...

It is cool outside in the early morning when i take Bailey out first thing but the house is still hot inside, When sun starts to shine brightly, it gets really hot outside. The sun seems to be especially hot these days. Today and tomorrow are to be the hottest days yet, but then I hope that it will improve. When you see temps like 40 degrees in the forecast, you just want to hide. And you hear the kids across the street yelling and screaming having fun in their swimming pool, you want to hide. I have often thought of buying a little round blow up pool and filling it with water and sitting in it. No one would see me in our yard so I would not feel stupid. I fondly remember being in your pool Cathy. Do you miss it?
Nothing accomplished outside yesterday except for me watering around supper time. I did a few chores in the house - you know the kind that hang around until you do something about them but really do not impact much of anything in the big scheme of things???
Harry had a few Dr calls and got himself a new Rx for a puffer that may help him breathe a bit better. I also made a few appts for my eyes and then for the yearly hearing to check the hearing aids. it will be a year this month that i have had them.
Through both Harry and i trying for an appt with the Eye Surgeon, we have found out he has retired. Harry needs another referral from his Optometrist now to have his cataracts checked (the appt he had for May was cancelled due to the Covid 19 issues), and since there is a new Specialist taking over from the retired one, I wanted an appt to have a second opinion /check of the diagnosis of retinal degeneration that has caused me so much anxiety. To do that i have to see the Optometrist again so a referral can be sent to this new Specialist. It is all so complicated but i guess we just play the game?
