Today we were back at the audiologist. When we were there two weeks ago, she took ear channel molds and has had new, in the ear, ends made for the hearing aids that David has been wearing for the past 5 years. She put them on, programmed them and taught David how to put them in himself. She also taught him how to make a push button adjustment to the sound, for use in very noisy areas. He's very impressed with the improvement in sound quality. They are cute and have little tiny antennas that stick up out of the ear. No-one will see anything unless they take a good look in his ears, but I noticed them sitting beside him in the car, after hearing her discuss them with him. They are quite sturdy for their size and are used to help take the device out of his ears. They are just so-o-o cute! I couldn't keep from petting them with a finger tip.
Early tomorrow is a doctor's appointment. Quite a week.
