Crepes
This morning for my breakfast I trialed my plan for making crepes. Following the recipes in my new book, I made 1/2 recipe of batter and cooked several sizes crepes on my little Braun crepe maker - it is only about 6 inches in diameter on top and sphere shaped. I tried an Apple recipe of cooking sliced apples in butter, sugar and cinnamon for 8 minutes and then rolling into the cooked crepes and topping with whipping cream. A bit fancy perhaps for me and my breakfast, but non the less - a success. Now I shall endeavour to try some of the meat crepes, or seafood or veg or other tasty offerings. So, I have found a new thrill....Take care ....yummy... yummy!
