Early to shop....

We were up and off early yesterday to Huntsville to shop because we really wanted to go into WalMart and unless we went early ( it opens at 7 am) you end up in long line ups in front of the store. No line ups and few people to deal with so it was nice. Then over to get gas and by golly, I treated myself again to a Starbucks. This time a brewed coffee with vanilla flavour and milk. Just a coffee! But it satisfied my need and i sat in the car to enjoy it while Harry went into Dollarama. Then we went into Canadian Tire and bought a gas powered chain saw! We have trees that need to be managed and i guess Harry has decided he and i will tackle them ourselves. I can see my immediate future very clearly now haha!
The Urology Specialist finally called with an appointment for the long awaited test for Harry ...February 22, 2021! I guess there really is a backlog for booking procedures now that things are starting to ramp up a bit. I hope i do not forget the date - I have it written down in several places just to remind me.In this case we have to drive to the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge which is about 40 km south of Huntsville.
I also got a call from the Eye place that my glasses were ready to be picked up in ...you guessed it....the main office in Huntsville. We had just come home from Huntsville, so I now have to wait until next Monday to see if they will arrive in the smaller office in South River where i had anticipated them coming on Monday. I am tired of waiting for these darn new glasses.
I went into the Library to return my book and was offered a chance to glance on the shelves. I ordered two books by Dorothea Benton Frank at your recommendation Pati, but not sure if they can get them in. But, I took out the next two of Steve Barry that i have NOT read yet. I am behind on his Cotton Malone series so started The Malta  book last night. It is in large print which I have come to enjoy as it is easy on my eyes.
So on with another day folks. Take care of yourselves and stay home and be safe. Look for some one thing wonderful today to fill your heart and soul. You can always find it and sometimes when you least expect it!!
Today I am hoping to stay home and do some yard work
