Ups and downs

Yesterday, Kellie’s (Jim’s Goddaughter) husband dropped in. this is the first time he has ever come without her. We had a really nice visit. He came on his vintage Harley. What a beautiful bike!!  It was such a nice surprise and a great visit. Kellie was at work, but Tyler had to fill in on days for a while so was at loose ends while she worked nights. Usually both are nights, but at different jobs.  Today, unfortunately, the dogs cornered the cat. I was in the house and missed the whole thin, but Jim caught part of it. We took her to the vets and $200 later the xrays showed no damage but she is traumatized. I have some nsaids for the pain for her but she keeps finding places where she feels safe and we can’t reach her. Poor baby. Still no rain here. Last night the wind was howling and woke me up. I checked the radar and there was a massive system north of us and one south of us and a very narrow band of nothing where we were. Please keep hoping for rain here. And on to the next day.
