Weather

Is there any other subject these days.  It is still freezing at night here.  Yes, May long and it is freezing.  Needless to say my bedding plants are in the house still.  They lifted the fire ban in our RM, but we know it is only because the part south of us got quite a bit of rain recently.  We got about 1 mm, but it was wet.  The fire ban is still on in Neepawa and the RM of Rosedale so I think we will follow their lead until rain comes.  Besides, the wind is gusting to 60 today.  Not a good day to burn anything.  We took the dog into be shaved yesterday.  He sure looks smaller when all the fur is removed.  In theory it was supposed to be warm by now and he would be cooler.  Instead he stands outside the patio door and shivers.  We get to go in an renew our mortgage next Tuesday.  I know our interest rate will be going up, but I hope we can get some sort of deal based on our previous rate.  I have a quiche in the oven for breakfast today.  I have been craving one so I figured today was as good a day as any.  Jim is never hungry when he gets up so figuring out the timing so that he would want to eat something was a bit tricky.  He agreed to 9 am, so it should be ready by then.  Rrain was given some Phillipino Pork KaBobs that she wants to barbecue (ie.... get Jim to BBQ), but the weather is not cooperating.  Jim thinks it might be warm and calm enough on Monday.  Hope so cause she is really looking forward to eating them.  They were made fresh at the kitchen at ArtsForward and she loved them when she lived in the Phillipines.   Jim has just come upstairs looking very sad.  He wants it to warm up.  Maybe by July
