The weekend is here, and all our family members are at home where they should be...what a nice feeling!
My body and scalp is covered with welts and so itchy - the bugs are really bad. Did I mention that before???? haha But outside work carries on. Harry has just about finished planting all the tomatoes and yesterday was the first day of Summer. Very behind this year but then everyone is around here.
Update on my trip to the Hearing Aid Centre OPEN HOUSE: A very pleasant event under a tent just outside the store front. Lots of food and drink, lots of balloons to celebrate their 40th Anniversary in business, and lots of Sales persons from different companies showing their wares. A few giveaways eg pens, ear plugs, eye glass cleaners magnets etc but I usually never go after that kind of thing. I entered my name into the draws but have not heard back so I guess I was not lucky. I spoke with all the Reps and have a bit more investigation to review for myself, but I have an appointment for July 16 to start the ball rolling. Oh boy.........
On another front after discussions with Harry he has agreed to accompany me on the chartered bus south to Casino Rama in Orillia. So I phoned to book for next Thursday ( bus goes every last Thursday of the month) Oh, my sad luck as there is no trip this month BUT, not to be undone, I booked us for next month on July 25. So here's hoping we will go. It has been on my mind for awhile to try to get out and do something. Apparently they have broken ground up in North Bay to start construction on the newest Casino to be built in Ontario. May be a few years though before it is up and running but hoping that we might go once it is - would be a lot closer.
So on with the day - lots of wash and vacuuming on my list, as Harry goes off to garage sales, and then more garden work and fighting bugs haha! Take care all!
