Some days

Today was one of those days. Our stove has had some problems lately, as well as our dishwasher and dryer. The last two still work, as does our stove, but only two burners. We went and checked out our local(and only) dealer. $1000.00 later we have a stove delivered and installed, or at least we will when he delivers it. To our dismay they no longer make stoves with plug ins. Where the heck am I going to plug in my kettle?!  The really scary part is that all our appliances are about the same age. What will be next?  We can use the dryer and dishwasher for now but what if something else goes wrong!?  Oh well. Rain was in the forecast for us today. If we had got a little more we might have had a millimeter. Not exactly what was forecast. Two days ago there was a 100% chance of 35 to 45 millimeters on Monday. Now there is 10% chance of anything. The pastures are dead and there is very little hay for the winter. Not a good year for farmers. Tomorrow Jim is doing a rotisserie chicken and his sister is coming over. Rrain is going to meet Nancy and her family (including Kris & co.) at lilac lake so she won’t be here. More food for me. Jim made it to meat draw on Friday. First one since mid-May. Nothing changed. He still didn’t win anything.
