Road trip

Yesterday, we were about to consider making a batch of Rhubarb and Pineapple jam, when David discovered that we had several cases of jam and jelly already, in the basement.  These came from several years ( we didn't make any in 2019).  More than we'll eat for the next few years.  So we offered them to Gail, as she had mentioned that she, and the nephew that lives with her, liked jam--a lot.

So, today we headed out to her house.  Since neither of us have been out of the house since Monday, it was as much a stress reduction activity as a jam delivery enterprise.  She is in the process of re-organizing her whole house, at the same time as desperately trying to maintain her jewelry inventory, for the few craft sales that are still running during this Covid 19 emergency.  So she was also ready for a little "stress reduction" activity.  After a look around her yard, from her deck, we decided to go into the Landmark  Co-op for coffee.  I was the only one who had coffee, as both David and Gail enjoyed some lovely hard ice cream.  Here are David and Gail enjoying the patio, beside a very busy, dusty parking lot.

On the way home, we stopped at Subway and took advantage of their sale of foot long Subs.  Supper tonight and lunch tomorrow.  I took some scenery pictures as well, while we were out, but they're on the other blog. However, I did take a picture of our tomato harvest, for this year--so far.

So now for a quiet session of poker, and then bed.  All this activity has exhausted me.
